Winter Trip to Kalispell

My friends Kay and David Jones joined me on a trip to Triple D Game Farm in Kalispell Montana this past January for a photography workshop with nature photographer Paul Burwell. We spent 4 days photographing a variety of animals in subzero temperatures.

The morning that we shot the mountain lion, the viewfinder on my camera was almost completely frozen over... if I pressed my eye right up to the camera, I could see a faint outline of the cat and as shot off burst after burst of photos, I hoped that at least a few would turn out.
